Linear ball bushings consist of a cylindrical bushing with several rows of balls embedded in it. The balls in the ball bushing ensure that it slides smoothly over a shaft. When a ball bushing slides over a shaft that is fully supported, the shaft cannot be completely round. To make this possible, a longitudinal opening has been made at the bottom of the ball bushing. This prevents the ball bushing from being hindered in its linear movement.
Shaft support is also possible as a block.
Shaft blocks are used to clamp and support the shafts of a ball bushing guide at the end of the shaft. The shaft blocks are available in different shapes and materials
Delivery of long large shafts with support
The shaft support shown in the photos reinforces the shaft over its entire length. This shaft support is made of aluminum and the mounted shaft has a diameter of 40 mm (!). The weight of a piece of shaft with support as shown in the photo is about 40 kilograms. These complete sets are made so that they can be placed behind each other to make one long length. Here, a SLU shaft support with a single straight row of holes for mounting has been chosen for a sideways mounting.

SLU-F (German PDF) are particularly suitable for horizontal installation.
SLU-H (German PDF) have a large center height.
SLU-K (German PDF) have a small center height, so they can also absorb lateral forces.
