Linear unit LTY in a sawing machine
18 Februari 2019Here you can see a video of the lineair unit LTY. The linear unit of Almotion is used in a sawing machine to cut compressed parts of (natural) fibers to size. A different cutting speed is required for each type of material that needs to be cut. Almotion managed to realize this with the linear unit LTY. Because the sawing machine hangs on the side of the drive, it was necessary that a very stable and reliable guide was used. This ensures that the material is sawn correctly. We have succeeded in realizing this for our client.

The LTY is a toothed belt driven unit with a dual rail system.
