Linear unit 15 year old

15 years ago, Almotion delivered two linear units to a machine builder. Only after 15 years some components needed to be replaced.

Almotion delivered two parallel LT2 guidewheels. One linear unit is a driven unit LT2-TR-G8 with a toothed belt and the other unit acted as a guide unit. The units were placed in a fulltime printing machine and only now do the guide wheels need  to be replaced.

The toothed belt type 16AT10, polyurethane, with steel inserts, was used at that time. The guidewheels run with hardened and ground V-shape wheels -30- mm on hardened and ground shafts size -10- mm. These guidewheels work perfect in a dirty working environment. In addition, the toothed belt is also suitable for a dirty environment. After all, it has suffered almost nothing under the influence of pollution.

Guidewheel LT2-TR-C8

The LT2-TR-G8 is a compact linear unit. The profile is 60 mm wide. The guidewheel has hardened wheels mounted on hardened shafts. This linear unit is equipped with an AT10 toothed belt. Also, this type is extremely resistant to polluted environments. The LT2-TR-G8 is available in standard sizes, but it can also be custom made for your application.
